With a large company Human Resources Background, I have lived in Charing for sixteen years, and I was elected to Ashford Borough Council as Charing Ward Member in May 2023.
My priorities are working to ensure that Charing retains its historic character, that its High Street continues to prosper and that our children can grow up in a safe environment. In addition, I want to help implement the recently agreed Neighbourhood Plan, which provides housing development that is appropriate for our village, and to crack down on speeding and anti - social driving.
I am also Shadow Cabinet Member for Planning & Development and with my other Shadow Cabinet Colleagues, I will work hard to try and ensure that Ashford Borough Council delivers for all of its residents.
